As you have seen over the past few days I am posting things about Advent which is the season leading up into Christmas. Advent Word is a way that I am expressing myself during the season. Many bloggers are doing the Blogmas program so this is acting as my Blogmas celebration. Let’s enjoy what each of us are bringing to this holiday season.
Today begins the Season Of Advent. It’s a time to prepare for the coming of the Christ child. Before Christmas it’s good to center one’s self spiritually and to focus on peace, hope and love. Come Lord Jesus.
For Advent I am doing a social media photo initiative called AdventWord.
It’s organized the Society of St John the Evangelist (SSJE) and the Anglican Communion Office is underway, with Anglicans around the world posting images on Twitter and Instagram in response to themes suggested by the Society.
