Creative Upgrade, A New To Me DSLR Camera

wp-1583004746682.jpg

My mom gave this Sony DSLR camera that belonged to my dad after he passed away. I will be hopefully taking my creativity to the next level. Over the next few weeks, I will be posting some Wordless Wednesday’s featuring pictures my dad took with this camera. Also, I will be taking my own pictures and posting them.

It’s going to be a great deal of fun to have a creative workflow involving this camera along with my Google Pixel 3a. Windows 10 has some applications already on board so I can import and edit pictures from this camera. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do video so I will try to find a solution to that so I can get into that a little.

Ash Wednesday derives its name from the placing of repentance ashes on the foreheads of participants. Today also begins the season of Lent where observants give up something or take something on.

Shrove/Fat Tuesday Pancakes And Sausage #FatTuesday #ShroveTuesday #Pancakes #Lent

On Shrove/Fat Tuesday it’s traditional to make pancakes which uses up all of ones fatty stuffs such as butter, sugar, milk, etc before the season of Lent where one gives up such indulgent foods. These are my scratch made pancakes and store made maple sausage. I don’t know what I’m doing for Lent yet. I have a few hours to figure it out.

What This #Blogger Is All About

I write for expression and to help make sense of it all. Blogging for me is a means to connect with people. My hope is that I inform, inspire and perhaps lift some folks up. Sometimes I am very serious and other times a bit silly. You have to find a balance between the two. People need other people who will make their lives better and I think blogging can be a way to make that happen.

For me, blogging is just like talking. Jared Polis

This blog comes from a place of personal reflection, justice, inclusion, peace, faith and a spirit that seeks to cover the blogosphere with a lot of grace. I have said this before that blogging is my second religion.

My point of view comes from seeing and experiencing what is going on in the real world. Granted I have a Utopian hope for the here and now and tomorrow that everyone is cared for, nurtured and loved. I have said before if all people don’t have a place at the table or in the blogosphere then it is a threat to all of us.
