Wordless Wednesday

Every year on June 14th countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The event, established in 2004, serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products, and to thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood.
If you can donate blood it’s a great way to be a true hero where you live.

Brisket and sides at Edley’s Bar-B-Cue here in Chattanooga. Tender brisket, tangy slaw and some spicy beans. The cornbread was tasty and moist. Good cue for the price.

It’s been awhile since my last blood donation due to my iron not being at what it needed to be. Donating on Memorial Day in the USA seems like the right thing to do. If you can donate blood in your area please do so because there is a shortage nearly everywhere.
