Easter Prep – Palms and Easter Eggs

Today friends from church gathered to fold palms into crosses and fill Easter eggs in advance of Holy Week activities. Palm Sunday the palms will be received and used to signify Jesus entrance into Jerusalem. The Easter eggs will be hunted on Easter Sunday morning. Thanks to a good crew St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will be ready to go. My friends Easter is hard work but good work.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day From Me And Blood Assurance

It is St. Patrick’s Day and I am wearing the traditional green as one does. The shirt I am wearing is from Blood Assurance the blood bank I work for as a gift to our blood donors. I know for sure I won’t get pinched today. May the luck of the Irish be with you today and of course get into good shenanigans like donating blood.

Chattanooga, Tennessee Goes To The Polls

The city of Chattanooga goes to the polls today to elect our mayor and city council. I’m voting for Mayor Tim Kelly who has done a good job so far. Get out and vote fellow Chattanoogans. Democracy on the local level is so important.

Prayers For Ukraine Coming From Chattanooga

This display at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee is in support and petitioning for prayers for peace in Ukraine. The country is in need of an end of the conflict that has caused much death and destruction.
