This past Summer, we went on vacation to visit family in Montana and took a trip to Yellowstone National Park. We did see quite a few wild and not so wild animals in our travels. Here are a few snaps of bison, elk, and more.

I am a big fan of dogs. They are the best friends of many. Birbs/Birds have great personalities. Hamsters are cute and fun. Giraffes are impossibly tall and majestic. Mules are humble and noble. Horses are fast and great. Bison are powerful. Animals are wonderful creations and make this world more complete.
Most of the podcasts I listen too are there to help me sleep or just to weird out a little. Sometimes a podcast can do both.
If I want to sleep, it’s Nothing Much Happens from Wellness Loud or Get Sleepy from Slumber Studios.
If I want to weird out, it’s the classic Welcome To Night Vale from Night Vale Press. I have discovered a new to me podcast that has a Night Vale feel called Nowhere, On Air by Jesse Syratt.
I also like New Heights with Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce.
I am fifty-six years old, and some days I feel every year of it. My personality is like that of a big kid in many ways. However, life has called upon me to have situational maturity in times when needed.
I think getting married, buying a house, paying bills, going to the doctor are times when you have to put on your big boy pants on. Also, being burned out of your home and helping walk a parent through their death is super important.
So to answer the question, there have been many times along with that first time which I can’t pinpoint as to being a grown up. Being grown up can suck, I must say.
Hard work is a daily grind. My work is not physically demanding like many others, but it’s mentally grueling. I have a daily quota that is sometimes hard to reach for various reasons. When I reach that quota, it feels great because I have had to work really hard to get there. So yeah, I do feel fulfilled, but it can be frustrating and sometimes discouraging to get to where I need to be daily. Fulfillment can also come from other sources when work isn’t there for you.
I answered this daily prompt in August of last year. I am revisiting it to say the things that cause me not to relax are still present. I do what I can to relax, but it’s hard for me. Being able to relax is important, and it’s taking me awhile to figure out to do more of it. But when I do relax I like to blog, watch TV, listen to podcasts, and cook breakfast on a Saturday morning. I do enjoy working on computer stuff too.
Visit my post from last year to see how I answered this question.
