My hope is that people say kind things about me if I have earned it. I would hope people would say that I am a good person although I am very human and I do make mistakes.

Three Wishes Writing Prompt
This is a good question and I would hope that what I would ask for wouldn’t impact anyone negatively. My first wish is enough money for me and my family to live where life would be comfortable. I don’t need to be filthy rich. The second wish would be to help make life easier for those who are in need. The final wish would be for organizations I care about to have what they need to carry out their missions. As long as I can take care of myself and mine then I will hope to be sure others are taken care of.
Lazy Days
When I take a day off I cannot just lay about all day. I need to do some things so that I can say I got some stuff accomplished around the house. I don’t bring work home with me ever. We have a dog and he needs to go out to do his business so being lazy isn’t an option. I guess I just need to learn to relax other than that.
Brand Power Isn’t All That Important
I am not much of a brand snob. I tend to be okay with store brands, generic items, and that sort of thing. Price is a consideration and saving money is important. Quality can be found in different forms. Mobile phones are an exception since I have had Google Pixels for years. It’s cool to be a frugal shopper brand name or not.
The Word I Should Give Up, Sorry
Daily writing prompt
If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?
If there was one word I would have to give up it would be “sorry”. I am a horrible people pleaser and when I feel like I have disappointed or failed someone I will use “sorry” as some sort of excuse. I really shouldn’t do that. I try to please people and when it goes south I should give myself some grace and not worry about failing them. At least I tried. So I guess I am sorry for being sorry and should get rid of that word or limit its use.
Why Do I Blog? Because It’s Fun!
I blog because it’s a fun and creative outlet for me. The cool thing about blogging is that you can make connections with people from all over the world. We get to share a little of our corner of the world and what we think about stuff. Blogs are a digital extension of our real-world lives. Every post is a snapshot to borrow a photography term of what is going on at any moment.
Those posts can be crafted into a series where you have the opportunity to share thoughts about a universe of things. I love to blog and it’s cool to know that I have a potential audience of billions of people. My official slogan is “Keep on blogging” and I say that because the community needs your voice.
