I was born in 1969, and here are a few important things that happened that year.
The first lunar landing happened in July. Woodstock rocked the souls of those who were there for music and peace. Surprisingly the Internet was invented that year. The Stonewall riots for gay rights took place. President Richard Nixon announced the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam. Also, a loaf of bread cost 21 cents.
This question is an easy one. Canada. I love Ontario and have visited Toronto, Brampton, and Niagara Falls. I would also entertain New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island. Calgary looks like an interesting place. I hear Montreal is beautiful too but I am not bilingual. Saskatchewan would be interesting too especially Regina.
I always enjoyed contemporary issues that discussed current events and some history behind them. As a matter of fact, I am still in contact with my teacher who taught that class to this day. It’s important to be aware of and have some background on what is happening in the times we live in. I am wondering what we would be talking about concerning the election cycle we have been through.
I love cooking breakfast on Saturday mornings. My specialties include pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, omelets, scrambled eggs, and that sort of thing. This morning I made scratch-made pancakes. I also enjoy making basic Italian food like spaghetti. On weekdays I do spam with mac and cheese in about 10 minutes. It’s good to have things you can do in the kitchen so you don’t have to eat out so often.
I am usually a play-it-safe guy, but I would consider skydiving. It seems like a thrill ride from a few thousand feet in the air. Of course, I would want to skydive tethered to an experienced person who could do a huge part of the work and would guarantee I would make it back on the ground safely. All of it seems like a lot of fun or something like that.
