I love Fall/Autumn. The changing of the colors of trees, the coolness of the air (sometimes), and it’s just cozy. I think life slows down in some ways but picks up in others. Fall/Autumn is the season of hugs, hayrides, and pumpkin spice lattes for those who enjoy that. Also, it’s the season of Halloween and Thanksgiving, and I haven’t forgotten those noble holidays that are all about candy and turkey. I await Fall/Autumn even though it isn’t technically Summer yet.

Broken A Bone? No. Teeth Are Another Story
I haven’t broken a bone in my 54 years (knock on wood) but I have broken three teeth by accident. All of those broken teeth had to be extracted. That is not fun at all.
I Do Practice Religion, Respectfully
My name is Tony and I have been a religious person all my life. My spiritual journey has been one of faith and doubts. My belief in God is a part of who I am but not all that I am. As I have said before I am in no way a perfect believer. No one should be because it requires lots of practice and sometimes you fail but that is OK.
I know that Jesus loves me for who I am as a unique creation. My spiritual life is based on the notion that God is with me and has given me free will to make my own decisions and to make mistakes along the way. I am grateful to be with my missus who is traveling the same road.
My personal practice is based on loving God and my neighbors. Attending worship and having fellowship with fellow believers. I attend the rites and rituals of The Episcopal Church which is a part of the Anglican Communion. From there I find comfort and purpose to make the world better through loving those in my community who are different and even those who are not religious themselves.
As a religious person, I have made it my vow to be respectful to all. God would like it if all his kids would do that. However, when you see injustice you gotta call it out. That means you can’t always be nice and not everyone will like you.
All I ask for is understanding. My faith practice is not up for debate. I will answer questions to the best of my ability. I hope we can still be friends.
My Fave Fruits
I am not a big fruit fan but I do like some of them. Figs, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and cooked apples. I do prefer most fruits to be cooked and in pies, pancakes, breads, cookies and the like. Fig preserves and strawberry jam is good too. I also like fruitcake cookies at Christmas.
My Favorite Holiday, Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. The holiday is an underdog if you think about it. It has to fight for recognition because Christmas seems to engulf everything once we get past Halloween. Thanksgiving is when we give thanks and spend time with family both biological and chosen. I like the parade, the food such as turkey and dressing. We can’t forget the pies too. and more. It’s cool that Thanksgiving is celebrated in Canada and The United States.
So What Do I Wanna Talk About
I enjoy talking about politics and religion (yes I know both are sacred cows) but only with like-minded friends, never family. I enjoy discussing TV, professional wrestling, movies, music, sports, and other things that come up in conversation around the dinner table or over coffee. Lately, I have been with company, who talk about what ails us because we are at that stage in life where aches and pains, and how to deal with them. It is not my preferred topics but they are necessary because I can learn from them. Life is something to be talked about and that’s cool.
