Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

So this sequel to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is very action packed and full of content and visually stunning. However I think there is too much action, too much content and at times too visually stunning. Don’t get me wrong I love this whole story and mythos and I am along for the ride because the world of Harry Potter never disappoints. If a franchise can take the time to tell a story that is complete and doesn’t feel like a very fast ride at an amusement park then is when it feels more organic.

Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law are terrific in this flick. Johnny Depp is a terrific villain. Each is charismatic and that makes the whole story go. There were some interesting things that kinda point to the future but I won’t spoil it for you. I recommend you see this on the big screen, any of these movies are worthy of your dollars and time spent at your local movie house. JK Rowling still has it and she will command your attention from start to finish, she is magic like that.

Fantastic Beasts Is Simply Fantastic

I loved Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Without giving anything away, no spoilers sweetie I thought the movie had some stunning visuals, amazing story telling and sets up a whole new wizarding world that takes place in the USA during the 1920’s. JK Rowling does it again in how she gets to expand the Harry Potter universe. You get to see perhaps how the magical community is more global and there is a common thread from the UK to the USA.

Eddie Redmayne leads an amazing cast that keeps you spell bound from start to finish. The characters are memorable and very likable.

The themes of the movie seem to reflect the times in which we live in America in that different people have to live underground because they fear for their way of life and culture. You must check it out when you can. Potterheads will not be disappointed.
