I don’t live blog movies in a theater but not to say I haven’t been tempted. However spoilers are a problem. Bohemian Rhapsody was a movie I would have loved to post stuff as I heard it.
This is going to be a spoiler free review of Bohemian Rhapsody which was a epic film based on the life of Freddie Mercury and the awesome rock band Queen.

Rami Malek’s performance as Freddie Mercury was breathtaking. He was simply awesome throughout the film. This was a look back in time of how the group formed and how Mercury made Queen into the group we know them now to be. The film transforms its cast so well into the roles of Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor.
You will be amazed in how this movie tells you things you didn’t know about the group too. The music as you would expect is fantastic and you will be taken back into time. throughout two decades where this group became the biggest in the world. You will be amazed at the recreation of their Live Aid performance in London back in 1985. I loved this movie and it is truly a masterpiece.
Rock on forever Queen!

Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix have some surreal social commentary that is very reminiscent of what is going on right now. Institutional corruption, fake news and manipulation of facts and denial of truth. It’s my favorite of the series.

This is a terrific film with loads of action. Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillian, Kevin Hart and Jack Black with Nick Jonas bring great performances outside their own unique personalities. It’s not a remake of the original with Robin Williams but a nod to the legacy of the original but with a different story that is relatable to today’s audiences. I really liked the film and look forward to the sequel.

The world needs dreamers and doers. We have had enough doubters for a lifetime. Bring me the promise of Tomorrowland where things can be better for everyone. Imagine the possibilities and don’t stop dreaming about tomorrow.

Winnie The Pooh is an iconic Disney character whose story has been told for generations. This movie puts the focus on the life of Christopher Robin. His life changed because of going off to school, World War II and having a job…you know grown-up stuff that isn’t a great deal of fun at any age.
There are lots of tenderness, action, adventure and social commentary thrown in for good measure which resonates across time. Winnie says in the movie “Doing nothing often leads to the very best kind of something” and that is a key part of where the movie goes into the story it wants to tell.
Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell and a who’s who of British and American talent are wonderful in this movie. It’s one that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Go see this and may it inspire you to find your own way to doing nothing and having the adventure of your lives.
