Adam Sandler Movie Mini-Marathon

We had a rough week last week with a family member in the hospital. Today after church we settled into an Adam Sandler mini-movie marathon featuring The Wedding Singer and Happy Gilmore. Both are great films that can make you laugh, one is about weddings and love and the other is about golf and love. Both movies are great for a Sunday afternoon of doing nothing but laughing (and a nap somewhere in-between).

Holiday Double Feature – Elf and Christmas Vacation

Tonight is a Christmas-themed movie double-header. The always funny classic “National Lampoons Christmas Vacation” and the iconic and madcap “Elf”. Both are terrific movies that tell stories about some of the best parts of the holidays.

Planes, Trains, And Automobiles a Solid Thanksgiving Movie

This movie is a Thanksgiving Day classic. Martin and Candy are comedy gold. Sometimes getting home isn’t always easy or direct or free from complications. It also means making new friends along the way.

The Blair Witch Project, A Spooky Season Favorite

The Blair Witch Project is a spooky season favorite of ours. This movie is about the story of three student documentary filmmakers who are shooting a film on the Blair Witch of Maryland. Creepy stuff happens in the woods as they shoot footage and they all disappear. This is spooky, mysterious, and psychologically scary as hell.

Deadpool and Wolverine, A True Superhero Classic

We are watching the greatest movie ever about superheroes who just want to be a superhero or something like that. Deadpool and Wolverine is the feel-good indie art film we need right now. It’s full of delicious violence and language. This movie is truly a family-friendly tour de force.
