After a few days away I have returned to usher 2021 to the scrap heap of history. It was a rough year but we made it through for the most part.
I will be posting and sharing more in the coming days and renewing my connection to my blogging community. I hope you all are doing well and are ready for a new start and a new year 2022.

Five more minutes is a gift.
Human emotions are so randomly weird.
The fourth Sunday of Advent is about Love. Remember to love your family, friends and neighbors during the season and going into the new year.
Tonight, I attended my last meeting as a member of the Vestry of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. The Vestry is the leadership group in the Episcopal Church. For the last three years, I have served my parish during extraordinary times in our world and my own personal loss in 2019.
This experience has taught me a lot about how wonderful my church people are and how we come together to lead during the good and tough times. I will continue to serve in other ways but my time as a church leader has ended and I am grateful for the opportunity I had to do the good work of the church.
Saying nothing is saying something. Nothing much happening means there is something going on. It’s ok to live a slow and boring life. Staying in a place where there’s not a lot going on or nothing much isn’t all that bad. The speed of life should not measure the quality of it.
