Happy Eid Mubarak To My Friends Celebrating Today #eidmubarak

Eid Mubarak or Blessed Eid (Arabic: عيد مبارك) is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on the festivals of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. Eid means “celebration” and refers to the occasion itself, and Mubarak means “blessed”; for example, performing the Eid prayer. (From Wikipedia)
To all my friends celebrating may this be a time of peace, joy, love and continued reflection.
Doing The Best You Can
One might think they are doing the best they can, however in the eyes of others are they? You always wonder if your efforts are truly making a difference or could you work harder. Even the people who are at the top of their field wonder am I giving it my all. Doing the best you can should be all anyone should expect even though they might not deserve it.
You also wonder if the people who give raises and opportunity are seeing you do your best when it counts the most. Praise is always good in this situation.
Sometimes we all wish others would give their best because so much of the burden is carried by ourselves. Without our best nothing gets accomplished. We all have to make things happen in all facets of life but there are times when we don’t want to do the best we can because we are just tired of it all.
Daily Prompt: Meddle
There is a difference between heavy metal and heavy meddle. One is music and the other is someone who gets in your business and other affairs. No one likes to be meddled with whether it be family or friends. The right to do what you like is something people take seriously. I remember the cartoon Scooby Doo where the teen detectives meddle in the business of the guy trying to scare people off. Perhaps its best not to meddle in other people’s stuff because it could come back to bite you.
