International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights.
To all the women out there who are going to work, making a difference, creating opportunity for others, sharing, caring, loving fighting the powers that be and getting us to the stars and beyond I appreciate you. Without you the world doesn’t work. Thanks to the women in my life who have made me the person I am and for being a role model. The future is indeed female.
The worst attitude is to say I got mine and forget the rest of you. Selfishness is a moral issue in as much as anything. Restricting the rights and freedom of anyone means that everyone is at risk. People are making decisions from a place of their own perceived power with the sole purpose to make life hell for others. There is nothing great about this.
Making ones living upon the good graces and cooperation of others is tough. You having to balance the demands of business with the availably of people in the process. One has to be delicate and understanding. Empathy and sympathy are both needed to connect with people.
Using good communication skills and experience are very helpful. Of course it requires sticking to it in order to be successful. Ultimately it’s asking people to help people and to add urgency into the mix.
Having goals and meeting quotas in this situation are another conversation. Keep those metrics in mind though.
This is the message of the moment. Be a revolutionary or get out of the way.
