This morning we went out to eat for breakfast at a local place called Sabor Modern Latino and Sushi where they have some great food. I had the huevos rancheros and The Soup Diva had a big breakfast burrito. You can get breakfast all day long in addition to their lunch and dinner options including good sushi. If you are ever in Chattanooga, Tennessee you should give them a try if you are looking for something unique and different.
Have you ever tried to substitute veggies for meat when you go out to eat? Granted you are meat oriented.

Remembering one of Chattanooga’s great restaurants. Town and Country was one of my family favorites. My favorites were the Jack Daniel’s steak and red snapper. It’s now a Walgreens pharmacy.

This restaurant was not the greatest Chinese/Japanese/Sushi place but it was convenient and it was tasty enough. It’s been several Asian restaurants over the years and it is a true hole in the wall. I will miss the food and the family that ran it. Fortunately there are many other places of its type around.
Mean Mug Coffeehouse was recently profiled on a national TV show called “Cheap Eats” but the food and coffee there is worth every penny. I had a meat-centric breakfast Quiche along with some spring greens. We split an apple butter swee troll that was warmed up and was yummy. The mocha iced coffee was eye-opening and refreshing. It’s one of many good shops that have made the southside of Chattanooga a hot spot to live and play.
