Something About Anxiety

The world is full of anxiety. We are on edge about a lot of things. Sleep is difficult and dreams are not always sweet. Perhaps we need to breathe more and turn off all the bad news. Well its hard to do all that. What’s going on world, why are we so wound up? Peace come soon over all of us.

Something About Harsh Critics

It’s pretty remarkable how mean some folks can be when someone does something out of the goodness of their hearts that might not be perfect or what they had in mind. Throwing criticism around is a easy thing to do these days. Granted in some situations you have to call things like you see it but for the most part the opinions of others can come across as destructive. Seems like the harshest critics are ones with a Internet connection and a social feed. There is the forgotten art of gratitude it appears. Sad.

Something About Posting

It’s interesting how one can post only one thing one day and post many things the next. Blogging is funny that way. Everyone runs out of creative juice then creativity rains from above and you can’t stop yourself from writing and posting. Post frequency is as individual as anything and every person is different in their view of how much to post and when to post it.

For me I post when the lightning strikes and inspiration presents itself. So you might see an endless stream of posts or none at all. Remember its your blog and you make the rules. Be mindful to not overwhelm your readers too often, they might unfollow you. Of course it all depends on when the mood is right and you gotta be ready to post on whatever device is handy.

Something About The Internet

This is still very true. The Internet can disappoint you sometimes.

Something About Online Living

AAEAAQAAAAAAAAIMAAAAJGY4NTIzYTIyLTlhNjUtNDljZS05YjZiLTFmNjkwZTJjN2MzOAIt seems so many people are living their lives online without stepping away to live it in reality. The lure of a virtual life is so much more appealing than that of a real existence. We find people who can’t differentiate what is artificial and what is actual.

When you un-friend someone on social media it could be interpreted as un-friending in the real world which is not the case but the two seem to have linkage in the hearts and minds of many.

People are emboldened to do and say things on social platforms that they might not say to your face. That in itself can cause many problems and can end friendships and family connections. You have to decide if it’s all worth it.

Everything is amplified online and there is no way to translate full meaning in text or words without possibly offending someone. Freedom of expression is a great thing but with it comes great care and responsibility. You have to know who you are conversing with and not everyone will get what you are saying could be humorous or even serious.

Your online life is to enhance your real world life not the other way around. Although for me I am always looking for things to blog about and to be inspired by what happens to me in daily living.

My friends it’s a very good thing to get out and get off-line for a bit. Get some fresh air, go to a coffee-house and meet friends face-to-face. Engage in conversations over a meal. If you have a porch invite your friends over for real face time. The social network has existed for years before computers or social networking. It will give you a lot of great ideas to post about.

Living online should be done in a measured way. Living off-line is where the action and adventure lies. Having the world at your fingertips does not replace having the world outside your door.

Something About Connections

It’s amazing the connections we make with people who we never thought we would become friends with. Some folks surprise you when they want to be your pal. Those connections reveal the depth of our hearts and souls that we look past appearances into something greater. Friendships are a vital part of our world and we all need them. It is through our friendships that we learn more about ourselves. We need to be wary that we see ourselves poorly when others reject us though. Each of us are valuable people and its great when others see it and sometimes let us know that value. Connections are cool!
