Happy Friday and New Taylor Swift Album Day

Hello there friends, It’s Friday. It’s also new Taylor Swift music day. Anytime you can combine two good things together, it’s a total win. From what I understand, this is another solid collection of recordings. Enjoy Friday, enjoy Taylor if you wish. Make it a great day, everyone, and that includes the Swifties out there.

The Swift-Kelce’s – An Engagement For The Ages

I admit, I am a bit of a Swiftie. Taylor Swift is a generational talent who has worked hard for her success. She is a songwriter, performer, actor, philanthropist, and producer. It was announced today that she and Kansas City Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce who is also a solid entertainer are engaged to be married. That news sent the Interwebs into overdrive today.

I find this to be a needed joyful moment, considering how much we need joy right now. It shouldn’t be up to a young engaged couple, no matter their celebrity, to lift the spirits of millions of people. But in the situation that exists in America it’s what will lift spirits and spark imagination.

They are a lovely modern couple. They have been together for two years and have weathered her box office breaking Eras Tour and his trips to the Super Bowl. Guys, who have a problem with her, get over it. She has done a lot for the game of Football by bringing her Swifties along for the ride.

I think it’s great they are taking the next step. I think their wedding is going to be a significant cultural event, but hopefully it will be what they want it to be, a time to celebrate a couple tying the knot. God bless them both as they enter into their marriage, which is way more important than the wedding. Let’s hope They Are Ready For It.

Sunday With Swift

I am listening to the new Taylor Swift record, The Tortured Poets Department. I will have a few thoughts about it sometime soon.

Here is her video for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. You will see some well-known faces.

Taylor’s New Album: The Tortured Poets Department Drops on Friday

To all the Taylor Swift fans celebrating the holy day of the release of The Tortured Poets Department, may you enjoy everything that goes along with it. Spread your joy about it into the world that sorely needs it.

It’s Super Bowl LVIII Sunday – Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers

It’s Super Bowl Sunday in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs vs. The San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This game is against two great teams who clawed their way to this championship game. Names like Travis Kelce, Pat Mahomes, Brock Purdy, and Christian McCaffery will make big-time statements in today’s game.

Yes, expect a good amount of Taylor Swift, who will be there to support her boyfriend, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce. She and many other celebrities from across the cultural spectrum will be in attendance. It’s the biggest spectacle in American sport. It should be a great game. Let’s have some fun.

Oh, I am cheering for Kansas City because I like Travis Kelce who with his brother Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce has a terrific podcast called New Heights.

The Tale of Taylor and Travis

Taylor Swift is a wildly successful musical artist, and Travis Kelce is a very successful football player. Rumor has it they are a couple, which is so storybook. Sounds like Taylor could have written a song about that.

She shows up to support him at his games; not everyone likes that. I think that is ridiculous. It’s great to see couples like that. They are clearly fond of one another and want to celebrate successes and failures that come along the way.

Not everyone likes that she is so present at his games. People say horrible things about her, and that is stupid. Her success triggers some people, and their new relationship is being tested by some people who are not kind and hate how successful she is. There is a vile amount of misogyny going on here, and that is just not right.

I wish them nothing but happiness. Am I a “Swiftie”? No. But she is a cultural phenom like Elvis, The Beatles and Michael Jackson. She sells out stadiums like the one Travis Kelce plays in. I like her music. She is a champion, just like the Kansas City Chiefs.

I just hate seeing two people who are about doing good things and making people happy be trashed. They didn’t ask for it. So far, they are setting an example for the young girls that are her biggest fans. To conclude, I hope they will find peace, success, and happiness. We could all use that in this world today.
