Everything changes, it’s a fact of life and technology. We all have things that come along that are different and new. Some of us can handle transitions better than others. Getting used to things that are unfamiliar is a real challenge for many. Being open minded can help us adjust to things that come along in life. Nothing remains the same for too long. An idea, a revolution, a communal desire to see change can make some uncomfortable which presents a whole other set of issues. The one thing we have to do in all of life is to keep our cool and hopefully have an open mind to doing something we aren’t used to doing.
So if you are going through a lot of change, know others have been down the same road as you. It will be alright. Have faith in your own abilities to adapt to the new. We all have changes ahead that we have to cope with. Hang in there good people, things will be alright…have some faith
It’s amazing how much digital stuff we generate over the years. Documents, pix, video, audio and more. I am discovering I should have gone through a bunch of stuff, but like a hoarder I can’t seem to get rid of anything. You see projects, letters, notes and many other things that are in various stages of completeness. A lot of stuff I have found has been with me for over 10 years. We all have things we hold on to both on our computer and then in our house. The one thing is that you need to find a place to store it all.
We all have a love/hate relationship with technology. Its to the point where many, me included, can’t do without it. In some ways its making us smarter but other ways kind of dumber. Perhaps its the seduction of a glowing screen and all the things it can do to supposedly make our lives better. I used to call a cell phone a electronic ball and chain for good reason and now I feel the weight of it because I can’t go anywhere without it. We have lived in the wired and now the wireless age and we are more connected in some ways but very disconnected in others. Technology is our friend and our foe at the same time.
Funny how all of it works for good and bad. We all wait for the latest devices that does the latest and greatest stuff only to see it bettered by new release. What will we see in the future in the next killer apps on the information superhighway? Only the future and people working on silicon valley and in other places know.
