Add an “S” to the word word and you get the word sword. Both word and sword can be weapons of mass destruction. Just a thought.
I personally think that the words “perfect” and “cool” are overused. And I am guilty of overusing those words myself. They are words of positivity and affirmation and since I am a recovering people pleaser they seem to fit most situations. I probably won’t stop using them.
Words can tell the world about you. Words can bring something into physical existence. Words can heal. Words can also destroy. Words can build empires and bring down civilizations. Words can hurt. Words can create opportunities or end careers. The words we choose matter these days. Words, words, words.
Dystopian… for the life of me I was trying to think of that word today as it relates to apocalyptic imagery. It was inspired by the song “It’s The End Of The World” by REM. Granted dystopian and apocalyptic don’t always have to go together but they do seem like good friends. Dystopian or dystopia are words that are not in everyday conversation, at least in my corner of the world and I am extremely glad for it if you know what I mean.
It’s frustrating when you know a word and it won’t seem to make it to your mouth. I suppose I had other things to be worried about and the word dystopia wasn’t all that important at the time.
The tongue burns like a fire.
