My blogging philosophy is to pay attention to the world around you and inspiration will strike. I also do a lot of life streaming where I post about things that are going on at the moment. There are a few things I do as a routine when posting such as Music Mondays, Tunes Tuesdays, Throwback Thursday and Flashback Fridays that sort of thing. I will schedule some posts ahead of time if there is a theme I want to explore and to create some continuity. Blogging to me is an organic activity that needs to flow and breathe as life goes on and as the situations of life arise. Of course to keep a blog alive you have to keep on blogging.

The Struggle Is Real
This week has been a real struggle. Winter weather on Monday and Tuesday seemed to make everyone a little cautious and not willing to do much. In my line of work people are your livelihood and when they won’t budge then you proceed to pull your hair out, get a headache among other things. My friends you just have to fight through stuff and do your best. Yes the reality of it all is that we all have challenges and how we face them says a little about ourselves.
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 – Groundhog Day
Happy Groundhog Day everyone! Punxsutawney Phil did NOT see his shadow today which means he predicts an early Spring. I hope that will come to pass, however the unseasonable weather we have had as of late around here will mean a mean blast of Winter sometime soon. Incidentally we are fans of the movie Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray, if you have never seen it, you should.
Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz won the Iowa Caucus yesterday. As a Democrat I have not made up my mind between Clinton and Bernie Sanders. I think the picture will be clearer after the New Hampshire Primaries.
Sunday is Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. I am pulling for Carolina in that game.
Right now I am sipping on a iced coffee I made from hot cocoa mix and coffee and ice from work. So I can have some further energy to make it through the day. There is much work to be done.
Oh yeah, it’s Tuesday. I hate Tuesdays.
