We all struggle with the proverbial foot-in-mouth thing that gets us into trouble. Everyone says something that they don’t mean at times. Its a part of that terminal condition of being human and making mistakes. A friend reminded me how everyone wishes they could turn back time and do things differently or say things differently at least. The best thing one can do is say you are sorry and try not to do it again. Then there are times when you shouldn’t say anything at all.
I have a hard time saying nothing at all. I’m “Emma” from Jane Austen’s “Emma”. Everyone’s business is my business. It’s a dreadful quality of mine.

I am an extrovert, I can’t help myself sometime. Sometimes it gets me into trouble.

I am actually a Introvert, but when I do say things it is awkward at times, and sometimes I do not have a “Mind to Mouth” Filter… I suppose the truth hurts and if you do not want to hear the truth then ask me to lie to you 😀

I find that when I DO manage to fly off the rails, I’d rather fall on the Mea Culpa sword than just edit out the offense.

Yeah, admitting wrong is easier to do. A wrongly worded statement shows intent of the heart or something like that.

I mean, if it’s a sin if syntax, I might change it, by then give an explanation as to what was, and how it might have been misconstrued.
In the age of text correct, I’m sure this is the rule, as opposed to the exception 🙂
