A Social Ramble

I find that WordPress, Twitter and sometimes Tumblr are better places to be than Facebook. I don’t know what it is but I think Facebook can bring someone down. Sure there are tons of pet videos but that can’t be the only thing keeping someone there. Blogging seems to be a more open social environment for better discussion. I would so love to log out of Facebook but it keeps people coming back because of the connections you have there. Not everyone blogs so that is a problem. Maybe I just need to logout of Facebook for awhile. I would much rather blog, Tweet and Instagram anyway.

  1. I use Facebook, but I have mostly friends and family on there. In fact, I don’t have more than 50 people added in the last I-don’t-know-how-many-years I have been on there…and I keep most of my settings pretty private from the public eye.

Just do what you feel is necessary. 🙂

  2. I use Facebook mainly for blog connections now. My family is slowly disappearing off it. And the groups are nothing compared to our blogging community.

  3. I don’t use Facebook, and I’ve heard terrible things about Reddit. I enjoy WordPress, twitter, Google+ and Flickr. I started with Flickr. I tend to rotate between them so that I’m not spending all of my time on social media–
