One of my blog followers has unfollowed me due to my posting frequency. Sure I post more than once a day because I blog in real time when I am inspired to. My blog is a chronicle of the things happening in my life and I can’t not post when something happens I want to share. Blogs are meant to be living, breathing documents the world can see.

If each post was 1200 words, I’d agree with your follower. But multiple short lists you can usually view in their entirety on the Reader is not a big deal at all for me.

I don’t do long posts. I don’t have it in me. My word count is under 300 words consistently.

I know. That’s why it didn’t bother me at all. I’d it were that many really long ones, I’d probably scroll past.

The attention span of people today is shorter and shorter as time goes by. There are a lot of bloggers who pump out 12-1400 words and I don’t always have it in me or the time to devote to that.

I write a lot and long. Just who I am. If they don’t want to follow or read, no skin off my back. It would have bothered me at one time, but now, this is how I see it. This is my blog and how I do it and if someone doesn’t like it, they don’t have to follow or read. I don’t read every blog I follow. I can’t. If the title catches me I read it. Just remember your blog, you design and your posts.

Seriously, how can someone unfollow you just because you post too much? You should be yourself and no apologies. No two writers should be alike anyways otherwise, what’s the point? Don’t worry, you’re doing great. Keep on writing. 🙂

Keep on doing what you do. It is possible to turn email notifications off, if that’s bothering followers when you post often. There’s no wrong blogging!

I’m sorry I laughed, life is too short to be that petty, no one forces anyone to read the blogs. Sometimes I read long blogs, sometimes I read short ones. I followed people because at least 2 posts were good that I would probably keep coming back
