It depends on the comments, but in general I don’t mind regular comments from someone who is discussing the blog post and has questions. People who try to hijack the topic to draw attention to themselves are annoying, but thus far, rare in my experience.

It doesn’t bother me at all. It means they are a loyal reader/follower. It makes me happy knowing they took time out of their day to read and comment on my post.

I don’t really mind as long as the comments are not a page long. I actually look forward to comments because it’s prove they’ve read what I have to say and understood it.

Not at all! Like the others have said, it means they took the time out to read and respond on the topic. I love hearing what people have to say about the content I write, and how it often sparks conversation. I actually get quite happy when I see I have a new comment!

Comments become a conversation…. They are the way you get to know someone…. I quite enjoy these ramblings!!!

I count every form of engagement (comments, etc) on my blog as a privilege and opportunity because the people commenting have the option of spending that time on some other important things. So, you see comments are opportunities to share in other people’s time.

As long as they are within context and without profanities jumping out of them, then it is welcome, after all this is also a part of the blogging process.
