I have had a reduced amount of energy today. Maybe it’s my Monday work schedule that has me going in earlier or something like that. My wife has recommended I take some vitamin B12 tablets and I am thinking that I should do that. Extra sleep would be good too I think. Even tonight I was “phoning it in” at Zumba. Mondays are the worst and I need to change how they go.

Monday, Yep It’s Monday Alright
It’s Monday again. Yep that’s all I have to say about that. Well sort of.

This graphic might be the dumbest thing I have ever seen on the Internet. Not too many folks are happy it’s Monday unless it’s their Friday, just saying.
It’s Cold and Clear This Morning
Character Resurrection
Am I supposed to be excited about the sudden resurrection of a character of a TV show I don’t watch? Is that what we are doing now? Just wondering…
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2
This afternoon we went to see the final installment of The Hunger Games movie franchise “Mockingjay Part 2”. I was blown away at the action as well as the story. I won’t give anything away as to avoid spoilers there were things I thought might happen and other things that blew me away. Katniss Everdeen is a true screen hero for young women everywhere. I think she exhibits courage, passion, vulnerability and loyalty, all things a true human being needs.
I appreciate the moral of the story that you can’t have a government that shakes the people down to support the cultural elite. Our world has to do what it can to prevent a dystopian future but in some places it’s already a reality. The youth of our world must work together to make our future bright. You must fight for the future and be the hero that is needed now more than ever. “May the odds be ever in our favor” as we do what is right and noble.
Local radio & TV reactions to JFK’s death, 1963: “Is this for real?” | David Carroll’s Chattanooga Radio and TV
On November 22, 1963 Chattanooga had three TV stations, each with only a handful of news reporters. There were about a dozen radio stations, mostly on the AM band, all live and local.
This is a great article on the local perspective of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy back in 1963. David Carroll works for our NBC TV affiliate here in Chattanooga. He is an experienced broadcast professional.
