Why do people feel the need to fully capitalize names of people and words of things they really like? Capital letters can be used to emphasize things. Otherwise it is the equivalent of shouting online. No one likes getting shouted at the last time I checked. It’s not how any of this works.

I do it often to emphasize a word in my sentence, only yo realise it does sound quite aggressive, and so I usually change it back to small letters in italics. Not always though. But agreed, it’s like shouting online.

I am guilty of it sometimes. I usually capitalize a word or two to emphasize. Will likely continue the same way; old habits die hard

I can’t say I’ve never done it, though I try to boldface or italicize first…
