In as many followers I have, I follow just as many fellow bloggers. Keeping up with posts can be a challenge. Blogging in my mind requires one read inasmuch as they write. Usually you can find inspiration for your own blog by checking out the blogs of others. I enjoy finding new blogs because it’s like finding a new character on a TV show or a movie and they add something unique to your feed. To me a blog is like a book and the blogger is the lead in this tale.
I use the WordPress reader and sometimes Feedly to manage the blogs I am following. No one likes to miss a good post but in this busy world we live in it happens. Thank goodness for archive links so catching up is possible. Blogging is meant to be fun and it should be fun. What do you think?
You can hire somebody to do the social media connection. Even keen teenage bloggers would be suitable employees.

Well, I can relate to this. I try to read some of my friends blogs on a daily basis. It can be kind of a job but once I start I usually find some gems that really inspire.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I look forward to more. Following you now 🙂

I love blogging, and for me, it is fun — loads of fun! I enjoy finding new blogs to follow, and I get a little thrill when others follow me. Managing all that content can be a struggle (as you mentioned). I spend part of my weekend reading others’ work. Reciprocation is the name of the game. 🙂

It’s a challenge really to keep up with all the posts. I follow the reader and I try to read the post of the fellow bloggers. I love the interaction between my blogger friends… 🙂

I try to keep up with the WPress feed at the top right of my page, which reminds me to go read the latest from whomever left a breadcrumb on my site. Whenever possible, I comment as well as like, which I also do from the Reader — which could be a full-time job on it’s own, given the many who post several times a day. If I didn’t have an ergonomic trackball I’m sure I would have some kind of scrolling disability.
I try to get around the ‘nabe fairly regularly – even, occasionally, to those who rarely comment or “like” my posts – but I’m with you on the desire for a way to pull up the bloggers who interact with me on a regular basis so I make SURE they top my list of visits.
Thanks for making me aware of YOU by dropping over to my patch of the ‘net. I shall return. Nerds have always been among my favorite people. 🙂
xx,

Good on your for finding your balance between blogging and reading blogs! What’s even worse than missing a good post is missing a comment someone leaves on your blog – I know it sometimes happens to me due to oversight and I feel quite bad about it.
