Organizing The Blogs On WordPress You Are Following

The WordPress Reader has a way for you to create lists to organize the bloggers you are following. You can set it up by any topic or interest you can think of that will help you with reading the blogs you would like to read more of at any given time. You can also add non-Wordpress blogs to it. Try creating your own lists so you can manage who you are reading.

  1. Tony, how did you know I needed this advice? LOL! But seriously, I keep wondering how to make a list of my favorite blogs (yours included 🙂 ) …. I started it once, but then it said something like it’s public, not private. And I want to keep it private. See at the top of your pic you posted… it says Edit List public…. does that mean it posts on your blog? I’m still confused. I’m going to revisit this again. It would really make it easier to have a list of all the blogs I want to make sure I read! Thanks again! Jenny

      1. Ok, thanks… I’m going to make my list. I’ve been annoyed at having to go through the whole list by date or name, searching for the blog I want to look at. Sometimes I can only remember the name of the person, not the blog. So then I’m out of luck. This way, I’ll have my list. Thanks again for the reminder, Tony!

    1. Jenny, feel free to check out my blog (and of course Tony’s blog). I have my list on the right of my page. My is public but I do believe when you create it you can make it private (use the little “private eye” symbol.

      1. Thank you for letting me know! I will check yours out to see how you did it. I appreciate your comment! 🙂 I want to get my list organized soon. I keep putting it off because I haven’t figured out the best way. So thanks!!

  2. Hey Tony, this week I was going to do a blog post about some things I’m doing on my blog, like saving a “Private” page in place of an actual blog post to update later (it’s one of the cool things I do to help myself during a busy week), but as a fellow blogger and a blog friend, I want to know if it’s OK if I do mine the same week as yours — Plus, I can add your link to mine to show more cool stuff.

  3. I am relatively new to blogging and I’ve been missing the posts from some of the bloggers I follow. I was thinking about what to do about this and you come up with this helpful post! Thank you!
