I am not sure what to say after last night’s vote to leave the European Union. To my friends and fellow bloggers in the UK, stay the course on your own lives. Go out tonight and have some fun. Forget for a moment the politics that led to this vote. Hang in there. You have my support. It’s not the end of the world, although for some it feels like it this morning. Others are celebrating the results. Rule Britannia.
There will be consequences. It’s not like “Hey, we are out of EU there will be just honey on our streets”.

I must say I was very surprised with the outcome of this referendum as everyone was. Scotland voted to stay which will mean more changes may be coming.

Scotland and Northern Ireland will both choose to leave the UK.

Not the outcome I was expecting at all.

BTW would you check out my blog next time you are on a computer if you aren’t on one already. Just did some appearance tweaks to my theme including new font and changed the background to white.

I like the white a lot better and the font is good too – crisp and clean looking. But who am I kidding, I would love your blog if it were florescent orange with green polka dots! 🙂

Thanks, friend. No polka dots and florescent here.

Very surprised at the outcome. I voted remain.

I don’t think it was a good move to leave, but then again it was the majority’s choice so so be it. We shall see what the future’ll bring, as we do with all big changes in life 🙂

It was a horrible move that cost the Prime Minister dearly. BTW would you check out my blog next time you are on a computer if you aren’t on one already. Just did some appearance tweaks to my theme including new font and changed the background to white.

I am a liiiiiiitle ignorant on what this means to England, and to other counties. I hear that the US stocks are falling. Why does it affect us? What amid the uk removing them self from?

They have been a member of the European Union which ties all the countries of the continent economically, socially and legally. Many wanted to leave because of complex issues of sovereignty and because of refugees. The stock market is taking a hit due to the fact that Europe and the UK are trading partners and fears of the dollar tanking in value there.

Is be wary of refugee issues, also. It’s just a slippery slope, that whole issue.

I was gutted by the result as you know from my blog I was heavily involved in campaigning for us to stay in the European Union. Your comment that Scotland and Northern Ireland will leave the UK fills me with fear as then we will just be left with a rump of England and Wales which is not very Great Britain at all. I think people will realise in a few years that this has been a mistake but by then it will be too late. The whole referendum was decided on immigration rather than economics.

I thought about your efforts and I am truly sorry for what happened last night. People who don’t know any better decided that fear should win. Best wishes.

Well I think whatever the reason people voted out it was not all fear, ignorance or just immigration and we do live in a Democracy. All this scaremongering that is going on is not good and the markets were expected to drop but once the dust settles then we will see. It is a blank canvas( so to speak) and there is no one else to blame if you voted leave and no point in complaining if it doesn’t go your way..the same with the remain group..you lost so stay calm amd see what happens. No one is saying it will plain sailing but we need to wait and see and not listen to negative thoughts. It may or may not have been right but time will tell 🙂
