Sometimes a post isn’t your best work. It kind of goes over like a lead balloon or something like that. You put a lot of mental effort into it or perhaps its something you think people might find interesting or inspirational. Pride in your posts can taint how you write down the road if you let it. Not every post will shine like a diamond, some will go thud. It’s interesting how people react to things online and in real life. It really is hard to please everyone but that doesn’t mean you should stop trying.
The struggle is real. But you just have to roll on, right? 😉

We’ll always keep trying. Right, Tony? 🙂

I had a post blocked for the first time today and I was beside myself at first. I took out all the things that could have been the problem and people started to see it. Some things come out the way you want and others don’t! 🙂

Yeah Tony, it can be weird sometimes…. there are posts I’ll work my tail off doing, and get little response, other times, I’ll just dash something off quickly, and BAM! it’s a hit! You just never know!

LOL I know the feeling well. Sometimes though, I just keep posting them anyway – cause its fun & I’m a bit twisted, I guess. Your frustration with putting a lot into it and then watching it fall flat is shared widely. The internet….AKA: Hell for people-pleasers.

Good advice Tony! The most traffic I’ve ever had was for a post the was on a topic I thought would only appeal to a very small niche group of readers. I was wrong. I enjoy your posts . All the best of the season!
