I am angry. Angry about how selfish people can be that they don’t want others to have the same things they have and to enjoy those freedoms of citizenship. Some folks wanted the clock turned back to a time that wasn’t good for everyone. They bought into the idea that America wasn’t great anymore. Why in the hell did a man who seems to have brought foxes into the hen house get elected. What also pisses me off is why did people of faith give this person a pass for the boorish and unethical behavior he has displayed in the past and basically torched our current president for wanting to give people health care and the right to marry who they choose. To me its party, ideology and greed above all else. Very sad and dark days are ahead for everyone.

Yes, many people will vote whoever is representing ”their party” whether that is Democrat or Republican. It sucks, many people are angry with you, and all we can do is try to make our surroundings better and and support those who need it. That’s what I’ve been trying to do anyways. 😦

As for his spirituality, I find it incredulous that no one from the conservative faith groups has mentioned the fact that he doesn’t ever mention Jesus or God .
Barak was constantly hounded about his faith.

Nah, he’s a narcissist, he wouldn’t just ‘give up’ (I might be biased because I am currently watching Criminal Minds and I always get my profiler on when I am). But… We’ll see. Good luck to all of you in America, though. And please pray for us: our elections are in March and we have a Dutch Trump who’s got a big chance of winning…

I stopped watching Criminal Minds years ago because it got too much for me. This is a show that has lasted much longer than I thought.

It’s actually boring in set up (basically it’s always the same), but I like the actors and the creative ways the writers come up with for killing people. I mean, some ways are beyond ridiculous if you ask me.

Tony, I cried last night as I listened to Barack Obama giving his farewell speech. No one could quell my tears. Even thinking about it now, I have tears. I have to believe that good will win out over the next four years. I believe in my heart that most Amercians are good people and will pursue good rather than self-interest. We will endure. I have hope. I hope we all do and can bring that hope to the surface and let it rise.
