A Dog’s Purpose is one of those movies that you need to see because of all the feels. It is about the journey of a dog through different incarnations. There is a good balance of good and bad things in the story so you don’t find yourself getting all weepy, which I expected to be but wasn’t. If you are a dog lover like I am you need to check this movie out. It’s safe for all ages but there are some intense scenes that kids might need some hand holding through. The cast is wonderful and keeps the story moving along nicely. Check it out because we need some feel-good stuff in the times in which we live.

I decided to see this yesterday, against my better judgement because I’m still not over the loss of my friend and black lab of 15 years. Although it was a good movie with a good view of life and the purpose of the bond between man and his best friend, I do have to admit it was terribly sad and difficult for me to even sit through the entire movie. Maybe one day I will be ready to share room in my heart for another furry friend, but not today.

I saw the trailer. That was enough. I can’t even watch the commercials for the abused and neglected dogs..I change channel so I don’t start crying. Animals are my weakness.
