South of the Scenic City Border

My hometown of Chattanooga has some great ethnic places to eat but Mexican/Latin is by far the most popular. Lots of good stuff!

In our city, we have a delightfully diverse cultural population, leading to a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. However, Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants far outnumber all others, many of which are very authentic. Below is a sampling of some of our favorites (not including Poblano’s, our favorite, which has its own blog post!)

Chicken enchiladas from Delia’s

Taco salad from Fiesta Mexicana

Chicken chimichanga from Las Margaritas
