My goodness there are some unexpected results coming in from the UK General Elections, sounds like a huge surprise is unfolding. Labour is doing very well and will take seats from other parties. Jeremy Corbyn has reinvigorated the Labour party and this gamble by Prime Minister Theresa May has certainly backfired. Will she get the sack or will she resign, sounds like she has limited options politically. We shall see what happens on Friday when all this shakes out.
Oh Dear! As a Brit watching from afar I am wondering when politicians will start working for all people as they are meant to be and not themselves. The people as we have seen in other elections over the world have had enough of empty promise and are voting as is their right ….Politicians Beware! and people be careful what you wish for!

A huge surprise in some ways, but maybe not so much after the appalling campaign May ran and the way she approached it as a Presidential contest, which isn’t the British way! An unnecessary election, called on the basis of her hubris, and we are now in precisely the state of chaos she said she wanted to avoid, and will be going into the Brexit negotiations from a position of weakness. Nothing will become clear today though, but I expect her to cling on and try to form a government. It’s going to be interesting, to say the least!

Well well well! I am in London on holiday and there is quite a stir here this morning. A Hung Parliament! Theresa May ( and her advisors who directed her to call this election ) will be is a right pickle now! the whole Brexit thing still hangs over the UK and there is little end to that in sight yet.

Yes, my husband and I are glued to the TV now to see where we’re going from here. A Hung Parliament seems to be on the cards right now, so we’ll see how that unfolds. We’re all really ‘up in the air’ today. I confess, I’m no May fan but it seems we’ll still be ‘stuck’ with her in one way or another. For now.

If Theresa May was policewoman …she’d be out of a job.

I think this will result in a new election in a year or so. Brexit looks weaker now. She lost in her gamble.

If Theresa May was an inflatable woman she’d only let herself down.

So let’s see now. the net net result is the uk is now run by a party that hates the old and poor and foreigners + a climate-change-denying party that hates gays and womens rights. brilliant. they shall govern for eons. i am sure of this. especially after all the big banks leave.
