Something About Understanding

Understanding can build bridges and connections where as shaming is about destruction of spirit and soul. I think people need to be more sensitive to the plight of others and that their circumstances are sometimes out of their control. We live in a very diverse world where no two people encounter life in an identical way. Opening your heart and mind can go a long way into creating peace both communally and individually. Maybe this is the door to peace?

Hi There! My name is Tony Burgess. My friends call me "T-Bird", I'm a believer, blogger, lover and bleeding heart idealist from the great city of Chattanooga, TN. I embrace all things geeky and nerdy. This blog is where I chronicle and curate the silly and sacred things in life. My life is about my wife of 17 years Laura, Cody our boy dog, family, friends and of course blogging. I work for Blood Assurance a regional blood bank. The Episcopal/Anglican Church is where I express my faith and St. Peter's parish is my community. Grace and peace to all!

  1. You are so right! We cannot know the trials and tribulations another person is going through … we all have our bridges to cross. ‘Tis why I always tell my readers to ‘share that smile’, for sometimes something as simple as a smile and a kind word can make all the difference in the world!
