Hurricane Harvey is promising to be a massive storm that’s brewing in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a powerful category 2 or 3 storm that could do lots of damage. Texas looks like it will get hit the hardest. Let’s hope for the best for those in the path of the storm.

I have cousins riding the storm out in Galveston… as they’ve done for generations. I remember my uncle staying while sending my aunt and the kids inland. Now these grown kids are repeating the cycle except everyone is staying put. We’ve offered them a place here but they’ve declined. At least they’re a bit removed from the brunt of it.
