I hate ads in the middle of a blog post. I don’t mind them at the bottom but when you are reading a post you don’t need that “speed bump” to interrupt your reading flow. Ads and click bait seem to be more intrusive and annoying these days. Grr!

Unfortunately we don’t always have a say where wp places them (

And that sucks! I have the premium plan so I don’t have any ads on my blog.

🙂 I am not too fond of ads in the middle of a blog post either, but I will ignore them and continue reading. If I read half of someone’s blog post, I might as well continue reading it in its entirety.
I will admit, that your point is most valid, Tony.

Yep, and especially if the blogger has the free WordPress. With free WordPress, you don’t have the ability to dictate where ads end up. Honestly, that’s why I too have the Premium plan.

🙂 There are always advantages to having a WordPress Premium Plan.

There definitely are. But it also costs money. Which is why I can’t be too hard on people who don’t spend that extra money.

I agree. The ads are hurdles that must be jumped and i find it breaks the thread of the post for me.

I so agree with you Tony. I hope it doesn’t put people off too much.

I would be okay with the adds if some of them weren’t gross. I write an inspirational blog, and pictures of people’s swollen feet in the middle of my posts just seems weird.
