I am happy to wear a mask. Not happy that my glasses fog up on the exhale. Keeping myself and those I love and my friends and neighbors safe is important enough to mask up.
I saw a video that said to use medical tape over the mask/bridge of your nose. That way, it won’t fog up. I haven’t tried it myself (yet) but I also wear glasses, so I understand.
There’s a trick to wearing glasses with a mask. Make sure your glasses sit on the mask so it presses it down. It greatly reduces fogging. I hate it when I’m in a hurry and I end up placing the glasses wrong. If you think masks are bad, we are mandated by law to wear additional face shields above the face masks.
Not needing to wear glasses your information was interesting and informative. I assume others, non glass wearers, probably would not know of the associated problems people wearing glasses have to endure either. It must be an uncomfortable situation for you all. As the saying goes ‘you learn something new each day’.
If you can pull your mask up higher on your nose, you can use your glasses to seal it and shape it to your face. Just place your glasses right on top of the material that’s over your nose and make sure they don’t slide off. A secure fit will keep the warm air from escaping through the top of the mask.
Its always so annoying and It’s always a challenge, I ended up buying anti fog prescription glasses in japan and it saves me so much hassle. You can also get anti fog cleaning cloths that will also temporary do the trick. 😊 best invention ever.
LOL ! ! !

I dabbed shampoo on mine and my kid’s glasses, let it dry, then buffed it off clean. Can’t explain why it works, but it does.

True words have been spoken (well, written). It’s a minor price to pay, but the fog is definitely real. Have a great day!

Yeah I understand. I had thought about putting my glasses over the mask (neck gaiter), but I haven’t tried it yet.
