This is a really cool vintage ad that combines the telephone with the television. It’s like a hardware-based solution for Zoom back in the day. I am a big fan of retro-tech like this.

That is so cool. I didn’t know that was a thing back then. I have been watching an anime that has something similar to that and even phone booths. The anime is supposed to be set in the future.

I’m old enough to remember the videophone at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York City, and the long lines to use it. I never got to use it. I don’t remember this particular device. (Thank you, also, for following my blog). Alana ramblinwitham
