Celebrating Hanukkah
We aren’t Jewish but we reverently appreciate Hanukkah for the spiritual and historic elements to it. These days there needs to be more light and more miracles. May G-d be with us all in these days. Chag Sameach. Shalom.
The Second Sunday of Advent – Peace
The second week of Advent is the message of peace. The understanding of the word “peace” is limited to worldly peace – the absence of war or conflict. But the word peace – as proclaimed by the angels to the shepherds at the birth of Jesus – has a much more spiritual significance. Happy Advent to all celebrating.
My New Glasses Are Here
My new spectacles came in and I like them very much. Still in my nerdy style. I’m rocking the old school lined bifocals like one does who likes retro stuff. It will take some getting used to though.

Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Special – The Giggle
My goodness, what a ride we have been on the last three weeks celebrating sixty years of Doctor Who. The show has been well served by the three-episode arc with The Doctor and Donna Noble. “The Giggle” is a wild ride Russell T. Davies is known for. This episode makes you think back to “The Sound of Drums” episode where chaos ensues. Neil Patrick Harris as the Celestial Toymaker is a badass villain in this episode. He is just as manic as anyone I have seen on screen. Overall it was a great episode in my humble opinion. It’s been a fun ride with David Tennant and Catherine Tate. This Christmas, Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson become our new Team TARDIS and I believe we are in good hands. Well done Doctor Who. Long live Doctor Who.
