Being Older, Less Cool

Sometimes being older means being less cool, especially to younger folks. Just an observation.

World Aids Day, Continuing The Fight For A Cure – #worldaidsday

AIDS_ribbon-08.jpg

World AIDS Day is celebrated around the world on December 1st each year. It has become one of the most recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on, and celebrate victories, such as increased access to treatment and prevention services.

UNAIDS took the lead on campaigning for World AIDS Day from its creation until 2004. From 2004 onwards the World AIDS Campaign’s Global Steering Committee began selecting a theme for World AIDS Day in consultation with civil society, organisations and government agencies involved in the AIDS response. It’s now December. One month left of 2017. Lets finish this year off on some good notes.

Something About Taxes

I am not an expert on taxes but if a tax plan doesn’t pay for itself or at least comes out balanced then perhaps it shouldn’t be forced upon the people who will have to pay for it. Here’s a hint, its not the billionaires or the super millionaires, it will be people who are of middle class and limited means. I am not certain anyone in Washington knows what they are doing.

I did call my senators to express my opinion and I hope it helps to persuade them but I am not holding my breath since they are a part of the problem.

Six Word Story
