All posts by Tony Burgess

Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

On My Way Home

Flashback Friday: Time Marches On – Tracy Lawrence

I am a big fan of 1990’s country music and this song by Tracy Lawrence tells a story that time does march on, things do change, people are different as time goes on.

It’s Been A Day

Today has been challenging and dreary. Work and the weather have occupied me most of the day. I am very ready for the weekend. Good news is that I seemed to have made it through. Next week has to be better, I hope!

The Weather

The forces of nature impact everyone, everywhere. I like to post about it because it tells a story about my life in the moment. Blogging is an immediate medium and posting about current events like a Winter weather event is something I enjoy doing. To bring the weather to my blog I do screenshots of weather apps and other resources that help tell the story. No matter what everyone should keep up with the skies and atmosphere because it helps us stay safe and sound.

A New Start Date For 2016

My blogging friend Nikki Neblett suggests we actually start 2016 on February 1st. Maybe this would be a good reboot or new way forward. January has just sucked in a lot of ways. I could go for this.
