International Holocaust Remembrance Day, or the International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, is an international memorial day on 27 January that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust. The date – January 27 – recalls the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during the final year of World War II, according to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
We must remember that this event was a reality. There are people who are still alive who were there. Remember the people who were lost to a very evil man named Adolf Hitler.
So, I went to the dentist today and got two teeth pulled. My friends that is never a fun thing to go through. Thank goodness for laughing gas for taking the edge off. Right now I am having some pain and I had a bowl of oatmeal for dinner because of its soft and minimal chewing. I have painkillers and antibiotics for post-op care. Thank goodness I have tomorrow off from work.
I overthink stuff. I don’t think enough about important things. My thoughts enlighten and confuse sometimes at the same time. Thinking is a good idea. Being thoughtless is not good for anyone. Think about others and yourself that’s what is best. Think therefore you are. Think twice, act once.
Everyone has a role to play in life. What you do for work matters to the makeup of a community. It’s a good thing when you see good things come from your labor. Hopefully, no one is looked down upon for doing the tough stuff that sometimes isn’t paid well. Supporting yourself, your family, and others is a noble thing. Pardon me for being a little cliche but it takes teamwork to make the dream work. Here’s to all of us who are getting things done and making a difference everywhere. The world needs us now more than ever.
