It’s rare when I am called on to work on a Saturday. Today was one of those days. The blood bank I work for services some of the areas impacted by the storms that came through the region on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Trauma centers in the hardest-hit areas needed blood. My coworkers and I were called into action to get blood donors to blood drives and to our facilities. I know people who work every Saturday and I thank them for their demanding work on the weekends.

Christmas humor is needed always. I found this to be funny and snarky.

I’m not perfect and I probably get on some folks nerves. Everyone has their limits. I know I have mine. It’s also a matter of boundaries and that sort of thing. Life requires a peace that isn’t always easy to realize.
