My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

Quote Of The Day

We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again.

Public Service Announcement

Friends, I am a believer in that Jesus guy you might have heard about. This is Holy Week for those of us who are in his fandom. Some posts will have that Easter theme going for it and, I promise to be respectful, kind and courteous as I always strive to be and all that jazz. Grace, peace, love everyone.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, and commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before he was crucified. Palm Sunday is known as such because the faithful will often receive palm fronds which they use to participate in the reenactment of Christ’s arrival in Jerusalem.

Palm Sunday for many in Jesus’ fandom is very different this year. It’s happening without the fanfare of the palms and other ceremonial trappings. Maybe it’s helping those who celebrate be more intentional and introspective. Thinking more about the event and what it means. Jesus came into Jerusalem with a humble heart knowing what awaited him. His journey would be one of the most important road trips in history.

Be Grateful in the New Normal

Be grateful that you have slowed down, and that life has more meaning these days. Even in these tough times, you have an opportunity to regain a part of you that was lost. May this new normal be long-lasting.

Masks On Good People For The Health Of Us All #Coronaviris

I’m doing my part to save lives and to help my family. Masks are important in the times we live in. Of course staying home is important. Be safe and well everyone.

Help Needed Now and Later

It’s time for today’s kids to be inspired to be EMTs, Paramedics, Nurses, Firefighters, Auto Mechanics, Truck Drivers, Tradesmen, Law Enforcement, Maintenance workers, and other positions that are honorable professions that can make a difference during times like this. We need help now and later and today’s children are going to be a solution.
