Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

A Personal Care Day

I took a personal care day in which I went to the doctor about adjusting some meds and getting a sleep study booked. Lately I haven’t been myself so I gotta get serious about my health. Today was also a time to set up the tree and put some electric candles in the windows. I also took care of some bills. So today has been relaxing but also restful. Thanks to a vitamin b12 shot I had some energy today. I hope you all are taking care of yourselves.

Thought Of The Day

The thing about a stepping stone is that there are people who are left behind who have found their landing place.

#AdventWord 2018 – #Light – #Episcopal #Anglican

The light of a candle is an important part of the holiday season. It’s a way people find their way home to the Divine.

To The College/University Students

Best wishes to all the college and university students taking their semester finals this and next week. Finish strong good people.

#AdventWord 2018 – #Night – #episcopal #anglican

There are magical things that happen at Night and that’s something to ponder. We see things in a whole new way.
