Solo: A Star Wars Story #starwars

Solo: A Star Wars Story is in my mind a good origin story for Han Solo. With all these movies they establish the back story for the things that happened in the Star Wars movies Episodes 1-8/9. The casting is superb with Alden Ehrenreich as a younger Han and we get to meet Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian played by Donald Glover. Also featured are new characters played by Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany and Tandie Newton.

There is plenty of action and story to keep you entertained and connected to the greater Star Wars universe. I recommend that any open minded Star Wars fan check it out.

A Reflection On The Week

This has been a challenging week for the American community. Everything from children being separated from families to suicides to the political unrest in our country. My friends its easy to be discouraged and troubled. For many this is a time of being on the edge because they find themselves disenfranchised and there seems to be no solution. People are seeking justice, peace and most importantly love. Prayer is one solution, voting another, understanding yet another. This is going to be a long summer and who knows what’s next.
