Pentecost Sunday at St. Peter’s Episcopal

Pentecost is the beginning of the church year in many Christian traditions. This morning at St. Peter’s Episcopal celebrated the descending of The Holy Spirit coming down to establish the church.

This is a great message from the daughter of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We have to find joy to keep going. Too much tragedy and inhumanity will kill our hearts and souls.

A Very United Kingdom Sort Of Day

I watched the Royal Wedding which was fantastic. The couple looked smashing. The service was great. Cheers to the Brits who made this day a memorable one.

Then I tuned into the Football Association Cup Final from Wembley Stadium where Manchester United fell to Chelsea 1-0. That wasn’t so good for the Red Devils.

Perhaps I could fit in an episode of Doctor Who and The Crown to finish it off right.
