To all my friends who love this country but don’t subscribe to the notion that you have to always like it I salute you. Independence is a gift that can be taken away as easily as it was given. God’s grace should be available to all nations without favor toward one. Everyone should have a seat at the table of discussion and we should all have access to things that give us the promise of life, liberty and happiness without discrimination. Independence Day is a important time to consider what this nation is still becoming. Independence doesn’t mean always going it alone because we are still accountable to one another for our actions. Patriots come in all forms and viewpoints and they don’t always carry arms. Let freedom truly ring…Just saying.

Just Working Hard – Just Saying
I make an effort to work hard daily. There is a thing called job security that is nice but I don’t do my job well because of that. Being good at what you do is nothing to be ashamed of but you have to be mindful of others who struggle but work just as hard. To me grace is helping those who do what you do be better because everyone wins that way. Too many people are selfish with their talents and even time but you don’t have to be. Just working hard does pay off and when others enjoy that same opportunity it lightens the load for everyone or it makes your whole department better and it means more opportunities to expand what you are doing and getting more resources. So just working hard is a great thing for everyone. Don’t you think?
Just Saying – Waging Peace
I think we should focus on waging peace not war. Too many people are looking for a fight when one doesn’t have to happen. Perhaps our world would be a cooler place if we loved more and fought less. Frankly I am tired of the wild west mentality we see today. No need for weapons of mass destruction if we have weapons of mass affection.
