Mary Chapin Carpenter is one of my favorite country/folk singers ever. She was how I found my way to country music. This is one of her big hits from back in the day “Down At The Twist And Shout” enjoy the distinct Louisiana influences here.

This just seemed fitting for this Monday because it is indeed manic. Its a peppy tune which is good.

#FBF Flashback Friday: The Police “Synchronicity 1”

A classic song from an epic record. The Police were an awesome band. I had this cassette and played it a lot on my stereo system. This live performance has lots of energy and sound. Another example of how cool the 1980’s were in music.

Tunes Tuesday – Duran Duran: Hungry Like The Wolf

I heard this song on the radio on the way home from work and I had to post it as my Tunes Tuesday post. Duran Duran “Hungry Like The Wolf” is a song you can sing at the top of your lungs at while driving. This is a little something from my teen years when they were top of the pops.

Music Monday – ‘N Sync: Bye Bye Bye

Tonight in Zumba we danced to this classic ‘N Sync song “Bye Bye Bye”. This legendary boy band remains a favorite of many and their tunes are modern timeless.

Downton Abbey – The Finale On Sunday, March 6th

I am getting emotional thinking about tomorrow being the final episode of Downton Abbey. I love everything about this series and I am sad to see it go. The Crawley family has been a part of millions of adoring fans around the world. I will be blogging more about the finale from now until tomorrow after it is all said and done.
